Trade fair for the electronics supplier industry of the mobility sector

Klaus Deller, Vorsitzender des Vorstands der Knorr-Bremse AG

"Knorr-Bremse sees the global megatrends of urbanization, eco-efficiency, digitization and automated driving as growth and innovation drivers. Thanks to our research and development priorities, we are driving forward solutions for these trends and playing a key role in shaping the mobility of tomorrow. At Mobility Electronics Suppliers in Berlin, visitors will learn about our strategy, our mobility and transportation technologies, and our concrete solutions for the entire vehicle life cycle. This applies equally to rail vehicles and commercial vehicles.

Examples include our predictive maintenance and highly automated driving projects: The intelligent networking of vehicles with their environment and the energy system will be a focal point of MES for us. Therefore we are looking forward to important and future-oriented discussions in Berlin with well-known and new business partners".

Thomas Rothhaupt, Director Sales & Marketing (Inova Semiconductors)

"Inova Semiconductors is an innovative semiconductor manufacturer of connectivity solutions for vehicles. We specialize in the transmission of video, audio and data for controlling displays and lighting systems. The MES with the topics infotainment/telematics and interior technology is an excellent event for us to reach our target customers in the automotive, aviation and rail transport sectors. That's why we like to come to Berlin".

Hennig Kagermann, Chairman of the Steering Committee of the National Platform Future of Mobility

"With mes Expo, a new platform has been created on which electronics suppliers can obtain information on key mobility issues across all modes of transport and exchange information among themselves as well as with vehicle manufacturers, politicians, industry and science. I very much welcome this and am pleased that the National Platform Future of Mobility will be accompanying mes Expo this year as a programme partner."

The MES Expo provides a clearly defined B2B trade fair as a platform for the car, commercial vehicle and railway sectors. This is an ideal opportunity for discussions, getting information, studying the market and, of course, for establishing and furthering business contacts.

The future development of mobility is dominated by such central issues as self-driving vehicles, electrification, connectivity and shared mobility. For example, electro-mobility has become essential both economically and ecologically, as well as for society as a whole. It is of vital economic importance for future industrial added value. As well as individual mobility this applies in particular to public passenger and freight transport, last-mile deliveries and the fundamental organisation of transport solutions. Adopting a systemic approach to electro-mobility involves more than just electronic vehicles: it also encompasses the smart interconnectivity of vehicles with their environment and the energy system.

The event program completes the concept by trend topics such as autonomous driving, electromobility, electrification of the drive, digitalization and connectivity of the vehicle.
